NMBU is seeking a postdoctoral candidate who can take responsibility for and develop independent research within the following areas:
·         Automated multispectral imaging in field trials using an autonomous robot and UAVs
·         Analysis and extraction of phenotypic traits from high-resolution image data
·         Efficient management, analysis and storage of phenomics data from field trials and genomics data from dense molecular markers.

·         Training of scientists and students in plant phenotyping methodologies
The position is connected to the innovation project “Reliable and efficient high-throughput phenotyping to accelerate genetic gains in Norwegian plant breeding (virtual phenomics; vPheno). It focuses on developing field phenotyping solutions for plant breeding, with a special focus on cereal crops.
