PHEN-ITALY is pleased to announce the National Conference on Plant Phenotyping, bringing together researchers, research infrastructures, industry, start-ups, SMEs, and stakeholders to discuss the latest advances and future perspectives in plant phenotyping.
The tentative programme includes:
🌱 Session 1 – The Italian Plant Phenotyping Landscape: Research, Innovation and Applications
Showcasing innovative solutions and applications from start-ups, SMEs, and industrial stakeholders working in plant phenotyping, digital agriculture, environmental monitoring, and related fields.
🌱 Session 2 – Emerging Voices in Plant Phenotyping Research
A dedicated session highlighting the work of Early Career Researchers (ECRs) and their contributions to advancing plant phenotyping through innovative and interdisciplinary research.
🌱 Session 3 – Strategic Vision and Future Perspectives
Presentations from PHEN-ITALY funded projects and discussions on the future development of the national plant phenotyping ecosystem.

Early Career Researchers
Early Career Researchers are invited to submit abstracts for oral presentations in Session 2 by 15 September 2026.

Selected speakers will receive a €200 flat-rate travel reimbursement and will be eligible for the PHEN-ITALY Early Career Researcher Award.
Start-ups, Innovative SMEs and Industry
Start-ups, innovative SMEs, technology providers, and industrial stakeholders are invited to submit abstracts for Session 1 by 15 September 2026.
